FLANGES

The principle of a flange is to apply mechanical force, using bolts, to preload a gasket until contact stress between flange and gasket is sufficient to maintain a seal. Connection to the pipe is by welding or threading. We stock flanges in dimensions ranging 1/2 to 24 inches. Other sizes available on request.
